SSDC Wall Mount System

“Out with the Old, in with the New”

TricorBraun had several directives and goals in creating a revolutionary packaging system for institutional cleaning products used in the restaurant industry. The SSDC SNAP-PAK 2 is a custom designed wall mounted bottle that replaces the old “bag-in-a-box” packaging, which had several problems.

The system frees up valuable floor space and allows the user to fill up existing spray bottles with “one-hand use,” utilizing the TricorBraun-designed spigot. The natural-colored HDPE bottle mounted in a bracket at eye level allows the user to see bulk product supply, which the bag-in-box system could not do.

Ergonomically, the bottle was designed with two large “gripper” handles on the side for use when placing and removing the bottle from the bracket.

In addition, SSDC’s customers realized significant cost savings for the customer because the new packaging is much more economical than buying ready-to-use products prepackaged in spray bottles and there is less spillage and greater safety compared with pouring product from traditional gallons into spray bottles.

Last, but not least, there is a positive environmental impact in several areas. The bottle is manufactured in highly recycled HDPE resin, the idea of one large package to refill means less transportation compared to smaller bottles. The rectangular shape cubes help maximize shipping space.
