“Design Revolution”

Some things have changed since 1964…The Beatles arrive on their first visit to the US, the US Surgeon General warns against cigarette smoking – well maybe some things not so much. But the Brut brand had been using the same oval PET bottle to house their men’s cologne since 1964, so they came to TricorBraun Design to help update their product package.

Brut Revolution was a new product to be packaged in a glass bottle with a shape to be similar enough to the rest of the family line that brand awareness was strong. Joining 1964 and the 21st century, TricorBraun designers used the original Brut cologne bottle silhouette but cut into it with crisp edges to make a more masculine, streamlined look.
