Australian Gold’s Colorology

“Reverse the Trend”

Liquor and tanning – two things that don’t usually coincide thought processes, until now. Using liquor bottles as a starting point, the design for Australian Gold’s new Colorology package for indoor tanning products was to be hard lined and clean. Traditional category shapes have tended towards organic, soft - usually round or oval.

For AG’s newest product, they decided it was time to reverse the trend, going with a square taper helping to set itself apart from traditional category lines. It is then topped off with a custom chrome plated collar and overcap. Because of the unusually square tapered shape, AG went with a full-body, multi-color shrink sleeve label to get the most of all 4 sides of the package.
